"Dogs never talk about themselves but listen to you while you talk about yourself and keep up an appearance of
being interested in the conversation".

We provide full vaccination support here in the clinic, and advise
having your dog vaccinated yearly to keep them protected against:
Parvovirus
Distemper
Infectious Canine Hepatitis
Leptospirosis
Parainfluenza
Bordetella Bronchiseptica (commonly known as Kennel Cough)
A Rabies vaccination is also available should you wish to take your dog abroad as part of the Pet Passport scheme.
Puppies can have their first vaccination from eight weeks old, with a second vaccination (to complete the course), two to four weeks later.
As part of our service, we set up annual reminders when your dog's vaccination is due, by postcard and/or text message.
Neutering male and female dogs can make friendlier, healthier and more contents dogs. It can be carried out from six months of age and is a routine procedure performed under a general anaesthetic, requiring only a day's stay in the clinic. Following the procedure, your pet should be kept quiet and rested seven to ten days, with lead exercise only, following the procedure. It maybe necessary for them to wear a collar during this time to prevent licking the incision site.
You will receive full after-care information when you collect your dog and a date made for a post-op. check up. We also recommend feeding a bland diet of chicken and rice for a few days afterwards and is available in the clinic.
We stock a wide range of canine diets and are happy to provide advice on the one most suitable for your dog. Advice on flea and worming prevention is also readily available.
We are happy to order in anything you need, which can be ready for collection the next day
(on most items).
