Nikki Williams, MRCVS qualified from Edinburgh University in 2001 and started work in Winchester at a mixed small and equine practice. For six years, she had been working locally in a small animal practice and then took the decision to open Crown Veterinary Clinic with her husband (Michael Taylor). Nikki is a keen horse rider and rides everyday; more recently she has enjoyed some success in local shows, competing in dressage, show jumping and cross country on her young horse Clyde.
Millie, RVN is our Head Nurse; a fully-qualified and registered veterinary nurse. Millie is responsible for the care of in-patients, pre- and post-operatively and spends most of her day assisting Michael or Nikki in the surgery and theatre. She has a Miniature Schnauzer called 'Alfie' who keeps her very busy. Millie is a big film fanatic and likes to keep up to date with the latest films.
Hayley, RVN is our fully-qualified and registered veterinary nurse. She looks after your pet whilst in the clinic, monitoring anaesthetics and providing post-operative care. Hayley owns six dogs, a couple of horses and a cat, with a young daughter and baby boy to add to her four-legged family!
Yvonne is part of our reception team and has been a veterinary receptionist for over thirteen years, having previously worked as a school secretary. Yvonne is very interested in animal welfare; as she says, "Caring for the animals is very rewarding." In her spare time, she likes walking with her Border Terrier, 'Freddy', who shares the family home with two rescue cats. Yvonne also enjoys gardening, music, sport and investigating genealogy and spending time with her grandsons.
Juliette, Animal nursing assistant. She wears many different hats, depending on the day of the week! From anaesthetics to social media. She has 2 of her own dogs, and one naughty cat who rules the roost! She is a festival goer in the summer and enjoys a good book.
